Public warned not to pay brokers for passport services

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has issued a warning to the public against paying brokers or outsiders to expedite passport services.

According to an official notice, all passport-related payments must be made exclusively at the Shroff counter, where an official receipt will be provided.

Additionally, passports should only be collected from the designated issuing counter.

The department urged citizens to follow proper procedures to maintain a fair and efficient application process.
