Public health inspectors warn of rising Dengue risk amid rainy weather

The All Ceylon Public Health Inspectors’ Association has warned that the ongoing rainy weather has increased the risk of dengue outbreaks across Sri Lanka.

Association Secretary Chamil Muthukuda urged the public to follow proper health and safety measures when engaging in activities around water collection points and wells.

He also reminded residents to exercise caution in water usage during the rainy season to prevent mosquito breeding and reduce the risk of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.
