
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, currently on an official visit to Germany, met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier yesterday (11th of June ) at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.
Following a formal state welcome ceremony, the two leaders engaged in bilateral talks aimed at strengthening the long-standing ties between Sri Lanka and Germany.
Discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation and international relations, as well as expanding collaboration in vocational training and tourism, President Dissanayake shared on Facebook.
He arrived at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport earlier today, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijith Herath, and a delegation of senior government officials.
