
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced that his next official visit will be to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He confirmed that he had already received an official invitation from the UAE for the visit.
Speaking at a meeting in Kalutara, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with the UAE.
The President stated that the government will explore the option of importing fuel through a government-to-government agreement.
He highlighted that such an arrangement could provide significant benefits to Sri Lanka.
The President’s visit to the UAE aims to enhance diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
