Polish foreign minister to head EU delegation visit to Sri Lanka

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from 28th to 31st of May 2025, as part of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

According to Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Sikorski will represent EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas during the visit.

He is expected to pay courtesy calls on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. Discussions will also be held with Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath to strengthen ties between Sri Lanka and the European Union.
