Despite their titles and positions, the government has taken action against individuals making such claims.
Reassuring the public, she stated that there is no threat to national security in Sri Lanka.
She further asserted that these claims were attempts by opposition members to destabilize the government.
Expressing confidence in the nation’s security forces, she affirmed that the Tri-forces and Sri Lanka Police would take all necessary steps to uphold national security.
