A Delta Air Lines passenger plane from the United States has crashed on the runway at Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada.
The aircraft was carrying approximately 80 passengers at the time of the accident.
Initial reports from the US Federal Aviation Administration stated that three people were seriously injured.
However, updated information from the Peel Regional Paramedic Service in Toronto has confirmed that around 15 people sustained injuries.
Among the seriously injured are a small child and two adults.
This incident adds to a growing number of plane accidents reported in various countries around the world this year.
