The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced revised token issuance times for One-day and Normal passport services at its Head Office in Battaramulla, effective from Monday 2nd of June .
Tokens will now be issued between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.
The Controller General stated that those with One-day service appointments and urgent cases may submit their applications during this period.
The public is advised not to wait overnight, as all applicants arriving within the specified hours will receive tokens, and to arrive after 6:00 a.m. to ensure a smooth process.
