
Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of General Staff of the Pakistan Army, arrived at the Sri Lanka Army Headquarters on Tuesday (22) as part of his official visit to the country.
He was accompanied by a high-level military delegation and was received with full military honors in line with traditional army customs.
Sri Lanka Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo warmly welcomed the visiting Pakistani delegation.
The two military leaders held discussions focused on enhancing bilateral military cooperation, with particular attention to regional security, peace-building efforts, and stability.
Talks also explored future opportunities for joint military training programs, intelligence sharing, and collaboration in defense operations.
