A total of 50,222 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka so far in December, according to data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

Of these, 10,453 tourists came from India, accounting for 21% of arrivals. Other notable arrivals include 5,420 from Russia, 4,822 from Germany, 3,823 from the United Kingdom, and 2,627 from France.

Tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka for the year 2025 have now reached 2,153,815. Among these, 485,249 visitors are from India, 195,565 from the UK, 164,013 from Russia, 136,081 from Germany, 124,298 from China, and 103,307 from France, the SLTDA reported.
