
A large number of devotees have gathered in Kandy, Sri Lanka, to visit the sacred Sri Dalada Vihara.
According to reports, over 125,000 people participated in the pilgrimage yesterday alone.
To manage the crowd, special police security measures and traffic control plans have been implemented across the city.
As today is the weekend, an even larger crowd is expected to arrive in Kandy.
The Dalada Vihara program will continue for seven more days, excluding today.
Meanwhile, the Dalada exhibition will be open to the public daily from yesterday until the 27th, between 12:00 noon and 5:30 p.m.
