Opposition Members of Parliament have begun signing a no-confidence motion against Minister of Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
The discussion on the matter commenced this morning at the Opposition Leader’s office in Parliament, under the auspices of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
Opposition MPs said the move is based on several shortcomings in the government’s education reforms, including content considered unsuitable for children, numerous subject-related errors, and the failure to address these issues in a proper and systematic manner.
