New revelations emerge in cricketer’s drug case

Several new revelations have emerged in the drug charges case against former Australian Test cricketer Stuart MacGill.

The main allegation against MacGill is that he purchased a kilogram of cocaine for $330,000.

The drug transaction allegedly took place at his restaurant in Sydney’s north in April 2021.

The trial has now reached its final stage, with claims that the former leg-spinner bought the cocaine from a known drug trafficker.

However, MacGill has denied all allegations, leading to a trial to determine the truth.

Just days after the alleged drug deal, MacGill was kidnapped and assaulted.

Six days later, he approached the police and gave a statement, insisting he had no involvement in drug trafficking.
