Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has allocated an additional $500 million to the Future Made in Australia Fund.
This investment aims to create new job opportunities in the renewable energy production sector.
Under the ruling Labor Party’s renewable energy plan, many future jobs are expected to emerge in the aluminum and steel industries.
Wind farm construction, in particular, requires large amounts of steel, and the Prime Minister’s key objective is to source this steel from within Australia.
Notably, the Future Made in Australia Fund was first introduced in the last federal budget.
