After several months of productive bilateral discussions, Export Finance Australia has finalized a debt relief agreement with Sri Lanka, valued at approximately AUD 60 million.
The agreement was officially signed today at the Ministry of Finance in Colombo, with the documents exchanged between Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and Australian High Commissioner H.E. Matthew Duckworth.
This milestone underscores the strong and enduring partnership between Australia and Sri Lanka, as well as their shared commitment to promoting economic resilience and cooperation.
