A new application, “Emergency WA,” has been launched to provide alerts about emergency situations.
This app is now operational across 10 regions in the state.
One of its standout features is the ability for users to directly contact the Triple-Zero emergency number through alerts related to emergencies.
While similar to the WA website, the app offers enhanced functionality and advanced features.
It is expected to be highly effective, particularly given the potential for forest fire conditions in the state in the coming days.
Since November 1, Western Australia has already reported 1,056 forest fires.
