The Dutch Ambassador to Sri Lanka has announced that the Netherlands is preparing to return six more artifacts taken during the colonial era.

The announcement was made during a meeting with Dr. Sunil Senevi, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious, and Cultural Affairs.

The artifacts to be repatriated include a ring, an ivory jewelry box, two large cannons, a mortar and pestle made of ivory, and an antique teak chair.

These items are currently stored securely in the Netherlands and will soon be returned to Sri Lanka as part of ongoing efforts to restore cultural heritage.
