Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa has called on the Government to focus on solving the rising cost of living crisis instead of concentrating on discussions about arrests and investigations.

Rajapaksa said people expect President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to provide solutions to the economic difficulties affecting families across the country rather than making statements about legal matters.
He stressed that any complaints or investigations should be handled through the proper legal process and said he and his party were prepared to face any inquiries.
Rajapaksa claimed that increasing prices and household expenses have placed heavy financial pressure on many Sri Lankan families.
He also accused the Government of failing to deliver on its promises of good governance and raised concerns over alleged corruption within the administration.
The SLPP MP said the Government’s priority should be addressing economic challenges, reducing the burden on citizens and finding practical solutions to the country’s cost of living crisis.
