Mahendra Singh Dhoni has officially filed a trademark application for the nickname ‘Captain Cool’, a title affectionately given by fans for his calm and composed leadership style.
The former Indian cricket captain seeks exclusive rights to use the term for sports training, coaching services, and training centres.
According to the Trade Marks Registry portal, the application has been accepted and advertised.
The trademark was published in the official journal on 16th of June 2025, marking a significant step in Dhoni’s post-cricket brand building.
