Monash University has made a new discovery about the impact of eggs in breakfast.
The study found that including eggs in breakfast can lower the risk of fatal heart disease.
Specifically, healthy adults who regularly consume eggs saw a 29% reduction in the risk of death from heart disease.
Additionally, adults who eat eggs regularly have a lower risk of heart disease compared to those who don’t.
The research involved 8,756 adults aged 70 and older.
However, the American Heart Association recommends that adults with normal cholesterol levels limit their egg consumption to two per day.
Previous studies have also shown that eating eggs can increase the risk of death for adults with high cholesterol levels.
