Indian Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s highly anticipated Sydney stage show has been postponed after his Australian visa was not approved in time.

The show, Vaikittu Endha Paripadi, was scheduled for August 8 at the Norwest Convention Centre in Sydney, featuring Mohanlal alongside other prominent Malayalam artists.

Mohanlal remained in Singapore while members of the cast and crew had already travelled to Australia. In a video message, he apologized to fans and expressed his disappointment over being unable to attend.

Organizers have said the visa was delayed rather than rejected and that the event is expected to be rescheduled. Ticket holders are being advised to retain their tickets while further details are announced.
