Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage recently met with Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Eranga Gunasekara and Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakarathna.
During the discussions, the Indian High Commissioner reaffirmed India’s commitment to providing unconditional support for sports development in Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on cricket and other sports.
He assured that India would continue to cooperate in sports development programs across the country.
The High Commissioner also emphasized the significance of strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the field of youth affairs, and expressed hope for further collaboration in the future.
