
Foreign Affairs and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath held discussions with leading Indian entertainment personalities to boost Sri Lanka’s film tourism and cultural outreach.
In a social media post, Minister Herath described the meeting with Indian actor-producer Ravi Mohan and singer Keneesha Francis as “groundbreaking.”
The discussions focused on launching collaborative film productions and musical concerts in Sri Lanka.
Minister Herath said these initiatives aim to showcase Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty while promoting the country as a premier filming destination.
He emphasized that the planned projects would bring captivating storytelling and vibrant performances to Sri Lanka’s iconic locations.
The collaborations are expected to attract international filmmakers and music lovers, leveraging Sri Lanka’s landscapes and historic landmarks for global creative ventures.
