According to the latest QS World University Rankings, two Australian cities have been named among the best in the world for higher education.
Melbourne ranks fourth, while Sydney holds the seventh spot in the global ranking.
London, the capital of Britain, takes the top position, followed by Tokyo, Japan, in second place and Seoul, South Korea, in third.
Munich, Germany, secures the fifth spot, while Paris, France, ranks sixth. Berlin, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland, share the eighth position, and Boston, USA, rounds out the top ten.
