As a result, Melbourne has earned the distinction of being the third-best city in the world for heart attack treatment, with only two cities in the United States and Denmark ranking higher.
In Victoria, 79 percent of heart attack patients receive emergency treatment, and 84 percent are discharged from the hospital after receiving timely care.
