A man has been charged exactly one year after a house fire in Melbourne killed two young girls.

The fire broke out at a home on Fergus Court, Sydenham, after 9:30 p.m. on September 8, 2024. Firefighters found a five-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy, and a one-year-old girl inside the house.
