Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance on the reality cooking show MasterChef Australia during her tour of Australia, while her husband Prince Harry carried out separate engagements.
Meghan appeared as a guest judge on the show’s set in Melbourne, where she was warmly welcomed by fellow judges Jean-Christophe Novelli, Poh Ling Yeow, and Sofia Levin. She walked the studio’s red carpet in a black dress and expressed her excitement, saying she was happy to be part of the show.
Her appearance came as a surprise, as it was not listed on the official itinerary of the royal tour. Meghan has previously showcased her cooking skills on her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry spent the day in Melbourne engaging with the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval, where he interacted with players and fans and tried his hand at Australian rules football. Midfielder Adam Treloar noted that the prince was enthusiastic despite being new to the sport.
Harry also attended a private event linked to Movember, where he spoke about the importance of therapy and how fatherhood has influenced his personal growth.
Later in the day, he travelled to Canberra to visit the Australian War Memorial. There, he paid tribute by laying a wreath, took part in an Indigenous smoking ceremony, and met with Indigenous veterans.
The Duke concluded his solo engagements with a Last Post Ceremony and was scheduled to attend an Invictus Australia reception before returning to Melbourne to rejoin Meghan for the remainder of their tour.
