

MasterChef Sri Lanka is set to premiere as the 71st international version of the globally acclaimed cooking competition, bringing a fresh and premium reality TV experience to the island.

Produced by Reality TV Productions in collaboration with Nilendra Deshapriya Productions, the show features a star-studded judging panel led by renowned chef Peter Kuruvita, alongside MasterChef Australia finalist Savindri Perera, fine dining expert Rohan Fernandopulle, and veteran chef Kapila Jayasinghe.
Filming is underway for the 25-episode first season, which will air on ITN in September 2025, offering contestants a life-changing opportunity to showcase Sri Lanka’s rich culinary heritage and compete for a grand prize including Rs. 3 million and a luxury vehicle.
This new series aims to highlight the island’s unique flavors and culinary talent while introducing a transformative format beyond the usual singing and dancing reality shows.
