He clarified in a social media post that any genuine endorsements or partnerships will only be announced through his official platforms.
Jayawardena stated, “I haven’t shared it as well, so don’t pay attention to these fake ads!”
This alert follows a growing trend of AI-generated ads featuring celebrities without their consent.
Globally, many public figures have recently raised concerns over the unauthorized use of their identities in misleading promotions.
The public is urged to verify information through official sources before trusting or sharing such content.
