
The Australian opposition Liberal Alliance has pledged to invest $9 billion in Medicare as part of its election campaign.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton highlighted ongoing crises in the Bulk Billing service, stating that patients relying on the system face significant difficulties.
The opposition argues that an urgent and effective approach is needed to improve the Bulk Billing service.
Earlier today (23rd), the ruling Labor Party also made an election promise to allocate $8.5 billion to the Medicare fund.
Notably, Peter Dutton’s statement came just a few hours before Labor’s announcement.
