The Department of Home Affairs has submitted a report on the total number of immigrants who came to Victoria for permanent residence in the last financial year.
Accordingly, the total number of immigrants who came to Victoria in the financial year 2023-2024 is 50146.
Most of those people have come under Skill Visa and its numerical value is 33994.
The other group has come to Australia for PR in Australia under Family Visa categories.
Most of the immigrants who came to Victoria state under Skill visa came under Employer Sponsored visa and the figure is 9453.
Next, 7763 people came to Victoria under the Skilled Independent visa.
Immigrants who came to Victoria for PR have given more priority to Regional, state nominated, Business Innovation and Global Talent Visa respectively.
