Police are investigating a knife fight that broke out at a shopping centre in Melbourne.
The incident occurred yesterday at 7:20 pm when two groups clashed in the car park of Broadmeadows Central in the city’s north, before continuing the confrontation inside the centre.
Both groups fled the scene in a silver Honda and a white Mazda before police arrived.
The shopping centre described the incident as “distressing” for staff and customers and said it has increased security measures.
“We do not tolerate criminal or antisocial behaviour in our centres and are committed to supporting Victoria Police in their investigation,” the centre stated.
