Punjabi music star Karan Aujla’s Australian tour has been thrown into uncertainty after his visa application was delayed by Australian authorities.

The issue reportedly involves a case of mistaken identity linked to his legal name, Jaskaran Singh Aujla.

Authorities reportedly flagged similarities with another Jaskaran Singh, who was arrested in Canada in 2024 over alleged extortion and firearm offences.

Aujla’s representatives say the singer has no connection to those allegations, and he previously received an Australian visa for his 2024 tour.

His Perth concert, originally scheduled for August 13/14, has now been postponed to August 24 because of the visa delay.

Aujla is still hoping to perform his other scheduled Australian shows, including concerts in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

The singer has apologized to fans and said he is working to resolve the visa issue as soon as possible.
