A miracle statue at St. Sebastian’s National Shrine in Kandana has been reported stolen.
According to a statement from the church, the statue was taken between 2:15 am and 3:00 am today.
CCTV footage shows a suspect dressed in black clothing, wearing a red cap, and covering his face, stealing the statue.
The suspect entered the shrine from the direction of the boys’ primary school and exited the same way.
The priests of St. Sebastian’s National Shrine, along with local residents, are seeking public assistance to locate the missing statue.
