The Sri Lankan-born actress, who has worked in Bollywood for over two decades, is reportedly the only actress in the industry to own such a rare asset.
In 2012, Jacqueline purchased a four-acre island off the southern coast of Sri Lanka for approximately $600,000, which was around Rs 3 crore at the time, according to Hindustan Times.
While many Bollywood celebrities invest in luxury homes or international real estate, Jacqueline’s choice to buy an island distinguishes her from her peers.
Initial reports suggested she planned to build a lavish villa on the island, though it remains unclear whether it was intended as a private retreat or a commercial tourism venture.
