The Colombo High Court has indicted SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa over the alleged misappropriation of Rs. 70 million linked to the Krrish Tower project.
The Attorney General’s indictment papers were presented before Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne.
Following the indictment, the court granted bail to MP Namal Rajapaksa.
He is accused of misusing Rs. 70 million received from the India-based Krrish Company, which was intended for the development of rugby in Sri Lanka.
The Colombo High Court has scheduled the pre-trial hearing for 27th of March 2025.
