Indian team refuses to respond in English in Australia

There have been allegations that the Indian cricket team is boycotting the Australian media.

The controversy began when Ravindra Jadeja refused to answer questions in English during a press conference on Boxing Day.

Jadeja attended a local press conference, but responded only in Hindi to the questions asked.

Reports suggest that this incident led to the Indian team’s decision to avoid Australian media.

None of Jadeja’s responses were in English, and the press conference was quickly brought to an end.

Indian media officials later clarified that while Australian media were invited, the conference was intended solely for traveling Indian media.

Australian journalists requested English subtitles for the conference, but their request was declined.
