The Indian Naval Ship ‘INS SATPURA’ arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday for replenishment and service requirements.
The ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) in accordance with long-standing naval traditions, the SLN stated.
‘INS SATPURA’ is a 142.5-meter-long frigate manned by a crew of 403 personnel.
The SLN also noted that the crew will participate in sightseeing tours during their stay on the island.
