

India’s High Commissioner to Australia, Nagesh Singh, has visited the upgraded Indian Consular Application Centre, or ICAC, in Canberra.

During the visit, the High Commissioner reviewed the centre’s operations and interacted with the team providing consular services.
The visit highlighted the High Commission’s commitment to delivering efficient, transparent and citizen-focused consular services.
The upgraded centre is expected to support the Indian community in Australia, as well as other applicants seeking consular assistance.
The initiative reflects continued efforts to strengthen people-to-people ties and improve consular services between India and Australia.
The visit involved cooperation with India’s Ministry of External Affairs, VFS Global and the Press Information Bureau of the Government of India.
