
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the dates and venues for the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The 13th edition of the Women’s 50-over World Cup will be held from September 30 to November 2, featuring matches across five venues in India and Sri Lanka.
The tournament will be hosted at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, ACA Stadium in Guwahati, Holkar Stadium in Indore, ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, and R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The World Cup will kick off with a high-profile opening match involving India in Bengaluru on 30th of Octomber marking the return of the Women’s World Cup to the country after 12 years.
The first semi-final is scheduled for October 29 in either Guwahati or Colombo, followed by the second semi-final on 30th of Octomber in Bengaluru.
The grand final will be held on November 2, either in Bengaluru or Colombo, allowing both finalists at least two days of preparation.
Eight teams will participate in the tournament: India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
