
The First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dr. Gita Gopinath, met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat during her visit to Sri Lanka.
During the meeting, President Dissanayake and the IMF delegation discussed the country’s progress on economic reforms.
Dr. Gopinath commended Sri Lanka’s strong performance and emphasized the importance of maintaining reform momentum.
She stated that sustained commitment to ongoing reforms is essential to ensure long-term stability and prosperity for all Sri Lankans.
