Iconic Sydney restaurant sells for $20 million

A popular restaurant in Sydney’s north has sold for $20 million.

Hugo’s beachside restaurant has reportedly been sold to Manly Wharf owners Artemus Group for $20 million.

AFR reported that management of the restaurant will remain the same.

Artemus Group Chief Executive Luke Fraser said Hugo’s is a good company and will remain so, and they are delighted to be working with Dave and David, who will continue to run the day-to-day business and conduct business as usual.

Led by David Corsi, David Evans and Daniel Vaughan, the Hugo Group was first established in a restaurant in Bondi, followed by Hugo’s Lounge and Hugo’s Bar Pizza in King’s Cross in the early 2000.
