
At least 64,905 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Monday.
Three more people died of starvation in the area in the past 24 hours.
During the same period, 34 bodies were brought to hospitals, and 316 people were injured, bringing the total number of casualties since the start of the conflict to 164,926.
Many victims are trapped under rubble or on roads as rescue workers are unable to reach them.
In addition, three Palestinians were killed and more than 47 others were injured in Israeli fire while trying to reach humanitarian aid in the past 24 hours.
Since May 27, 2,497 Palestinians seeking aid have died, and more than 18,182 have been injured.
Hunger continues to claim lives in Gaza, with three more people dying of malnutrition in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of famine-related deaths since October 2023 to 425, including 145 children.
