An urgent search operation is underway in Sri Lanka for 20-year-old French national Jules, who has been reported missing since 11th of May. His family and friends raised the alarm after losing contact with him on Sunday, prompting a widespread appeal for information.
Jules was last seen at approximately 11:07 AM near Deepika Resort in Mirissa, and he last communicated with his friends at 1:44 PM the same day. He was believed to be heading toward Udawalawa, possibly to Suncity Privacy Cottages, and may have been traveling by bus, tuk-tuk, or taxi.
Since then, there has been no further contact, raising serious concerns about his safety. In a public appeal, his friends expressed fear that he may have been injured or become stranded in a remote area.
Local police have been notified, and the French Embassy in Sri Lanka has been informed of the disappearance. A photograph of Jules has been shared widely, and the public is urged to report any information regarding his whereabouts to the authorities immediately.
