Four newly appointed Supreme Court Justices were sworn in before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday morning (12th) at the Presidential Secretariat.
The appointees include Court of Appeal Justices R.M.S. Rajakaruna, Menaka Wijesundara, Sampath B. Abeykoon, and M.S.K.B. Wijeratne.
The ceremony was held in the presence of senior government officials and dignitaries.
President Dissanayake emphasized the importance of their roles in upholding justice and the rule of law.
Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, was also present during the swearing-in ceremony.
The appointments mark a significant milestone in strengthening the judiciary of Sri Lanka.
