Four new international food chains open at BIA

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved agreements with selected operators to establish internationally recognized food chains at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

Following an international competitive bidding process, proposals were invited for four designated slots (20-D, 29-D, 39-D, and 42-D) in the departure area for a three-year period.

Six bidders submitted proposals, which were evaluated by the technical evaluation and standing procurement committees.

Based on the evaluations, contracts will be awarded to HMS Host Services India, Barista Coffee Lanka, Jubilant Food Works Lanka, and Gamma Pizzakraft Lanka.
