Four members of the Matugama Pradeshiya Sabha have pledged their support to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), aligning themselves with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
The crossover took place following a meeting with Premadasa in Colombo today.
Those who joined the SJB include Independent Group 1 Leader Kasun Niroshan Munasinghe, Narawila Samithawansa Thero, Vijitha Darshani Kumari de Silva, and Chamilani Ruwandika.
Their move signals growing grassroots support for the SJB ahead of upcoming elections.
