Former Sri Lanka and Canada cricketer Pubudu Dassanayake has been reappointed as the head coach of the USA men’s national cricket team.
This marks his second stint in the role, having previously led the team from 2016 to 2019. During his first tenure, Dassanayake played a pivotal role in helping the USA earn ODI status and gain recognition as an emerging force in international cricket.
He takes over from Stuart Law, who stepped down late last year after guiding the USA during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which they co-hosted with the West Indies.
