A large group of foreign tourists boarded the train from Ambewela to Badulla yesterday (22), travelling towards the picturesque Ella Railway Station, Station Master Asendra Dissanayake confirmed.
Dissanayake said all necessary facilities had been arranged at Ambewela Railway Station to accommodate the visitors, with music played over loudspeakers to entertain passengers as the train prepared to depart.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a French couple waiting at the station was seen dancing to the lively tunes, creating a cheerful start to the scenic hill-country journey.
