Air traffic at Kuwait International Airport was temporarily suspended and several flights were diverted to nearby airports after Iranian missiles and drones reportedly struck Terminal One, causing casualties and damage to airport facilities.

According to reports, Kuwait’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) immediately activated its emergency response plan to protect passengers, staff, and critical infrastructure.
PACA spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi said authorities are implementing established security and safety protocols while assessing the extent of the damage caused by the attack.
He added that technical and contingency measures are currently in place to facilitate the safe resumption of airport operations once inspections and repairs are completed.
Technical teams remain on site evaluating damaged facilities before restoration work can begin.
